Description
Unlike the Tenby monument photographs that I had taken last year, I wanted to try and inject some more colour into the photo, so I tried to change the composition by showing some of the area around the monument. After using DxO Optics Pro 7 (which I am in love with at the moment) to edit the photo, I must say, I really like how this turned out. I do wish that I took the photo from a slightly different angle, but I think it still looks pretty good.

It must have been a gorgeous day when you took this photo; the grass looks lovely green and the blue sky with white clouds make a nice setback for the monument. The photo definitely benefits by the lack of clouds behind the monument itself; in that you chose the perfect time and angle
Can I just say it seems so very remarkable and unusual for what I can only think is a public place, that there are a number of benches set around the monument, and there don't appear to be any trashcans? Though there seems to be something on the right that looks to be a cloth
I just have one small thing to say further of the photo, which concerns the monument itself. The plaque below the statue seems to shimmer, but it's not shown to full quality because of the shadow cast over it. Is the statue really that brightly white, though? His head does seem to catch on a bit of too much sun, on the verge of overexposure.
Overall, a really nice photo
