Description

Again, the changes to this piece may look minor. With exception to the photo size, the picture was lightened to try and make the staircase/wall on the left more visible, so you could see the detail, but trying to retain its darkness at the same time. Since the photo as a whole was lightened, the sunset and the water is also brighter.

The sunset itself is gorgeous! It's unfortunate the foreground is so difficult to capture because it gets underexposed due to the nature of light. I think the best way to capture this would be to use a few different exposure settings on your camera and then merge the photos together to get the range of lights in. There's also other tutorials out there to help you with exposure settings on your camera out there on DA <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>. Other than that the composition seems to be all right - you seem to have followed the rule of thirds. Good luck and I hope this helps!
